Justin Timberlake is featured in The Hollywood Reporter‘s new songwriters roundtable issue alongside some other big names and he explains why he was initially afraid to do the music for his animated film Trolls.
“I think I was afraid to go into Trolls because I was like, ‘Well, there’s probably going to be more frivolity to it than substance.’ But then I looked at the story and I’m like, ‘Wait, hold on, we have a female protagonist that has a belly, crazy hair,’” Justin said. “‘That’s so important.’ And what a cool way into getting them into the theater — ‘I wanna be like Princess Poppy, not Barbie.’”

Pharrell Williams keeps it cool and casual while attending the grand opening of the new flagship location for his apparel company Billionaire Boys Club held on Wednesday (November 9) in New York City.
The 43-year-old entertainer was joined by his longtime collaborator Nigo at the store, which will carry brands such as Billionaire Boys Club, Human Made, Kaikai Kiki, Yeezy, Fenty by Puma, CdG Play, Timberland, and his new Hu adidas Originals collection.
“There was an opportunity to use this moment—this agreement between Adidas and myself—to do something for other people,” Pharrell explains (via Billboard), “while we made creative, interesting, cool technology that services the body. That’s what HU is. HU [stands for] Health Ultimatum. [I'm asking,] ‘How can we strive for betterment in our work?’ That’s why you see all the different colors and languages. We’re ultimately trying to bring people together.”
