Director Spike Jonze keeps his arm wrapped around actress girlfriend Michelle Williams after a romantic dinner in Brooklyn on Saturday. The couple was also spotted getting cozy together in L.A. earlier this month.

Michelle, 27, and Spike, 38, met when Michelle auditioned for Where the Wild Things Are, which Spike directed. Jonze recently produced the actress’ upcoming film Synecdoche, New York.

Jonze, who was last romantically linked to Drew Barrymore, was previously married to fellow filmmaker Sofia Coppola — they called it quits in 2003.

Drew Barrymore has just been crowned “World’s Most Beautiful” by People Magazine.

When do you feel most beautiful? Right after I’ve worked out and I’m sweating all over the place and my face is two different colors of white and red and my hair is half wet, half dry and I look like I’m about to have a heart attack. I feel like I’ve changed the shape of my body temporarily into something more flexible and strong.

When do you feel least beautiful? When someone makes a really snap judgment. It just feels below the belt. . . . You just feel kind of corroded and gross inside. I think that ends up reflecting on the way your face looks.

Any beauty rules for dating? The only fundamental rule for me is to just be yourself. Let your freak-flag fly, and if someone doesn’t get you, move on. [Recently, Barrymore has been spending time with director Spike Jonze, but she declines to talk about the relationship.]

Drew Barrymore and director boyfriend Spike Jonze (Sofia Coppola‘s ex-husband) were spotted kissing during a romantic date on Tuesday night at “Ivy at the Shore” in Santa Monica, Calif.

One insider at the Ivy said, “[Drew and Spike] were all over each other.”

Spike, 37, recently went with Drew, 32, to Hawaii to celebrate her 32nd birthday. The cozy couple were pictured arriving at LAX airport from Hawaii with gal pal Cameron Diaz.

Spike is a Jewish-American director of offbeat music videos and commercials, and an Academy Award-nominated director and producer in film and television, most notably the 1999 film Being John Malkovich and the 2002 film Adaptation.
