Tim Tebow went to the hospital to visit his former high school football teammate Rodney Sumter, who was injured in the horrible Orlando Pulse shooting earlier this month.

Both played football together at Allen D. Nease High School.

“My high school quarterback left the Bahamas to come and see me. Tebow has always been an awesome person,” Rodney captioned a photo on his Instagram account of the pair in his hospital room.

Rodney went on to play football at Jacksonville University, and he was a bartender at Pulse, the nightclub where the shooting occurred. According to Rodney‘s Instagram, he is also a model, personal trainer, dancer, and a dad. We are sending our thoughts to Rodney and all of those effected by the Orlando shooting.

• The Hateful Eight takes place in post-Civil War Wyoming, where bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man who claims to be a sheriff. Hoping to find shelter from a blizzard, the group travels to a stagecoach stopover located on a mountain pass. Greeted there by four strangers, the eight travelers soon learn that they may not make it to their destination after all.
• Concussion, starring Will Smith, follows forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (Smith), who discovers neurological deterioration that is similar to Alzheimer’s disease while conducting an autopsy on former NFL football player Mike Webster (David Morse). Omalu names the disorder chronic traumatic encephalopathy and publishes his findings in a medical journal. As other athletes face the same diagnosis, the crusading doctor embarks on a mission to raise public awareness about the dangers of football-related head trauma.

Eli Manning suits up for the red carpet at Bleacher Report’s Bleacher Ball held during 2016 Super Bowl Weekend on Friday (February 5) in San Francisco, Calif.

Also spotted at pre-Bowl parties that night were fellow football players Tim Tebow and Rob Gronkowksi, both of whom attended ESPN The Party, which was presented by Express.

Eli, whose brother Peyton Manning is playing in possibly his last Super Bowl ever, says he wants his brother to be a coach for his team, the New York Giants, when he retires.

“I offered if he wants to be a quality control [coach] for the Giants and maybe earn a little respect and see if he can know anything and help out a quarterback in the quarterback room a little bit I could probably make a call him or two and find him a spot,” Eli said (via the New York Post).

Nina Dobrev and Tim Tebow get their game faces on while performing on Lip Sync Battle, which aired on Thursday (February 4).

The 27-year-old actress and 28-year-old football player faced off with sporty numbers on the episode.

Tim Tebow is all smiles during his interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is airing on Wednesday (February 3).

The 28-year-old former NFL player confirmed that he is single and opened up about what he looks for in a partner.

“Obviously someone that I’m extremely attracted to, but I think there has to be more there. There has to be depth. Obviously you have to have similar beliefs you have to have chemistry, character, but there has to be something more than just glitz and glamour,” Tim said.

When asked if he dates a lot, Tim said, “Some yeah when you find the right ones.”
