Katie Holmes and her mom Kathleen head out to catch the Broadway musical Evita together on Thursday (March 22) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 33-year-old actress was spotted shopping around at some stores in the Big Apple!

This past week, Katie, her daughter Suri, and Kathleen painted ceramics together at Make Meaning on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

“Katie was very hands-on,” a witness told People. “There was a lot of back and forth between mother and daughter. Suri was totally immersed in the creativity.”
