John Travolta Makes First Official Appearance Since 'Adele Dazeem' Oscars Flub

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston give a toast on the stage at the Silver Springs International Film Festival on Thursday evening (April 3) in Ocala, Fla.

This is the first official appearance for the 60-year-old actor since his major “Adele Dazeem” flub pronunciation of Idina Menzel‘s name at the 2014 Oscars.

Idina has been super gracious about the whole situation, and even went on the Today show looking fabulous, where she discussed the mishap. “I don’t want to keep saying it because I don’t want him to feel worse or anything because he sent lots of apologies,” Idina said.
