Alicia Vikander hits the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The 27-year-old actress, who won an Oscar this year for her work in The Danish Girl, is making her first appearance at the Met Ball.
