Deceased 'Deadpool 2' Stunt Woman's Identity Revealed By Family

The identity of the stunt woman who passed away on the set of Deadpool 2 has been identified as Joi “SJ” Harris, a professional motorcycle driver.

SJ was from Brooklyn, NY and she was also the first African-American licensed female in the sport. Her family confirmed her identity to TMZ.

Deadpool 2 was SJ‘s first film as a stunt driver.

Ryan Reynolds, the star of the film, released a statement mourning Joi‘s loss.

If you didn’t see the news, Joi was driving a motorcycle when she crashed through the glass of the Shaw Tower’s ground-floor studio. The brakes were reportedly not applied on the motorcycle.
