TikTok Star Anthony Barajas, 19, Is On Life Support After Deadly Movie Theater Shooting

Anthony Barajas is in critical condition.

The 19-year-old TikTok social media star is on life support after being shot in a fatal incident at a movie theater in Corona, Calif. on Monday (July 26), police confirmed Thursday (July 29), via The Wrap.

Anthony, who goes by @itsanthonymichael on TikTok, was one of the two victims in the shooting. The second, his friend Rylee Goodrich, 18, tragically died from her injuries on the scene.

Anthony was taken to a local hospital following the shooting, which happened during a 9:35 p.m. screening of The Forever Purge at Regal Edwards Corona Crossings RPX theater.

Detectives arrested a suspect, Joseph Jimenez, 20, a day later after issuing a search warrant. There is not yet a motive for the shooting, and it appeared to be “unprovoked,” via police.

There is a GoFundMe page to help support, set up by his family.

The Corona Police Department is asking for help from anyone who was inside the theater, in another movie theater, or in the shopping center between 9 p.m. and 11:45 p.m on Monday night (July 26).
