Kanye West Is Reportedly Rebuilding His Childhood Home for 'Donda' Listening Party

Kanye West is building something big for his new listening party.

Last week, the 44-year-old “All of the Lights” rapper announced that he would be holding a third listening event for his upcoming album Donda in his hometown of Chicago, Ill. at Soldier Field.

According to Variety, Kanye is reportedly building a replica of his childhood home in the middle of the stadium ahead of his performance.

Over the weekend, the rapper wiped his Instagram account and began posting photos, the first of which was of the childhood home he shared with his late mother Donda, after whom the new album is named.

The New York Post writes that Kanye currently owns the house after purchasing it for $225,000.

Donda reportedly sold the property in 2003 for $121,000 and in 2011, the rapper visited the home with Jay-Z with a camera crew. It was also featured on a 2018 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kanye‘s third listening party is set to take place on August 26.

In case you missed it, earlier this week he seemingly doxxed Drake after the pair reignited their ongoing feud.
