Lil Nas X wore three red carpet looks at the 2021 Met Gala!

The 22-year-old entertainer stepped out at the event on Monday (September 13) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and, while on the red carpet, stripped out of one outfit and into another – twice!

If you don’t know, this is actually Lil Nas X‘s first time at the Met Gala! We hope he has a wonderful night – and based on his iconic entrance, it’s off to a great start!

The annual Costume Institute Gala is the fashion world’s equivalent of the Oscars and the event is usually held on the first Monday of May, but it was postponed until September 2021 due to the pandemic. The theme this year is “In America” and there will be a two-part exhibit with the second part debuting at next year’s Met Gala.
