Gal Gadot Says She Was 'Shocked' By the Way Joss Whedon Treated Her

Gal Gadot is opening up about working with Joss Whedon on the set of Justice League and how she was “shocked” by the way he spoke to her.

A bombshell report surfaced back in April 2021 that Joss threatened to harm Gal‘s career while they were making the movie.

THR published a report suggesting that Gal had “multiple concerns with the revised version of the film, including issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in Wonder Woman. She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next.”

Gal said a month later that Joss “kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable.”

Now, she’s opening up in greater details about what happened.

In a new interview with Elle, Gal said, “Oh, I was shaking trees as soon as it happened. And I must say that the heads of Warner Brothers, they took care of it…. Going back to the sense of righteousness that I have…you’re dizzy because you can’t believe this was just said to you. And if he says it to me, then obviously he says it to many other people. I just did what I felt like I had to do. And it was to tell people that it’s not okay. I would’ve done the same thing, I think, if I was a man. Would he tell me what he told me had I been a man? I don’t know. We’ll never know. But my sense of justice is very strong. I was shocked by the way that he spoke to me. But whatever, it’s done. Water under the bridge.”

Huge news was just announced for Gal‘s future in the DC Comics Extended Universe.
