The Real Anna Delvey Has Been Released From ICE Custody - Find Out Where She's Going Next

Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, is no longer in ICE custody.

The 31-year-old, who is the real-life subject of the Netflix series Inventing Anna, finished her original prison sentence in February 2021 and was taken back into custody by ICE in March 2021 for overstaying her visa.

The New York Post reports that Anna was released from an upstate New York detention center on Monday (March 14) ahead of her deportation. She was set to fly to Frankfurt that evening.

The outlet reported that Anna is “said to be furious about the deportation, according to one close source, as she had put in an appeal to remain in the US. The appeal was meant to be heard on April 19.”

In an interview last week, Anna talked about where she stands with Rachel DeLoache Williams, her former friend who is depicted in the Netflix series.
