Gerard Butler is enjoying the warm weather at the beach while kicking off the weekend!

The 52-year-old Olympus Has Fallen actor was spotted going barefoot with his sneakers tied around his shoulder while leaving the beach on Friday evening (June 10) in Malibu, Calif.

Gerard went for a walk on the beach with a friend.

This past week, Gerard‘s new movie Last Seen Alive made its debut on premium VOD as a $19.99 rental. The movie has reached #5 on the iTunes charts, which is impressive as it has received nearly no promotion and Gerard himself has not posted about the film on social media.

Last Seen Alive centers on Will Spann (Butler), who is driving his soon-to-be ex-wife Lisa (Jaimie Alexander) to her parents’ home when she mysteriously disappears without a trace during a stop at a gas station. A frantic Will engages the local police and Lisa’s parents in a desperate attempt to find her, but as time passes and suspicion falls on him, he must take matters into his own hands, delving into the town’s criminal underbelly while running from the authorities in a race against time to find Lisa.
