Kanye West Announces Plans For '30 Day Cleanse' & Implies He Won't Be Speaking for a Month Following Weeks of Damaging Statements

Kanye West appears to be taking a vow of silence for a month while embarking upon a self-described “30 day cleanse.”

The 45-year-old rapper has generated endless headlines while sharing hateful and anti-Semitic statements for several weeks.

His net worth took a major hit, and he lost some major brand partnerships as a result. Kanye has also been restricted by Instagram more than once for posts on the platform.

His answer appears to be embarking on a “30 day cleanse” to take time away from it all.

“I’m taking a 30 day cleanse,” the hitmaker wrote on Twitter. “A verbal fast, no alcohol, no adult films, no intercourse. In God we praise, amen.”

He signed off by adding that his Twitter was “still lit.”

It is unclear if that means that the celebrity doesn’t intend to release any more statements during this time or if he will make it the full 30 days. At the time of publishing, he has already shared several more tweets.
