Joe Biden Condemns Antisemitism & Calls On Others to Do Same After Kanye West Praises Hitler & Gets Suspended From Twitter
Joe Biden indirectly responded to Kanye West‘s latest antisemitic messaging.
On Thursday (December 1), the 45-year-old rapper praised Hitler and said that he loved Nazis during an interview with Alex Jones. He was later suspended from Twitter following a rant, which included a post that appeared to feature a swastika drawn inside a star of David.
The president, 80, took to social media to condemn antisemitism and to call on others to do the same.

“I want to make a few things clear,” President Biden tweeted. “The Holocaust happened. Hitler was a demonic figure. And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides.”
“Silence is complicity,” he added.
Although he didn’t call out Kanye by name, the timing made it fairly clear who he was responding to.

I just want to make a few things clear:
The Holocaust happened.
Hitler was a demonic figure.
And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides.
Silence is complicity.
