Lea Michele Says Son is 'Not Out of the Woods Completely' After Hospitalization for Undisclosed Treatment

Lea Michele is updating fans on the health of her son Ever as she prepares to return to the Funny Girl stage.

The 36-year-old Glee alum took some time away from the show this week after revealing that her 2-year-old son was sick and in the hospital.

She check in later in the week to let fans know that Ever would be released from the hospital soon. Lea also promised she’d be back to performing for the weekend.

On Saturday (March 25), Lea checked in from her dressing room to provide yet another update about Ever‘s wellbeing.

“I’m back at Funny Girl tonight. I’m really happy to be back,” Lea shared in a video on her Instagram story. “It’s been a really long week, and we’re still not out of the woods completely with our son. But he’s headed into a good direction, and we’re really, really grateful.

The actress continued, saying that she was a little under the weather.

“I have a cold just I think from not sleeping at all this past week,” she explained. “But I’m really happy to be back with my Funny Girl family.”

Once again, she thanked everyone for their support, saying she “really, really” appreciated it.
