Disbanded K-Pop Groups of 2023: 9 Bands Split Up, 6 Contracts Set to Expire!

PENTAGON – CONTRACTS EXPIRED, SEEMINGLY NOT DISBANDING

The boy band debuted under Cube Entertainment in 2016.

Five PENTAGON members have decided not to renew their contracts with Cube Entertainment, as of October 9. Cube Entertainment announced that Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok’s contracts with the agency have expired, via Soompi.

“We’d like to express our deep gratitude to Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok who have been with us on this long journey of 7 years, and we wish them nothing but happiness in their future endeavors,” they said.

Shortly after the announcement, Yeo One and Kino reassured fans that they would remain PENTAGON members, so there is seemingly not going to be a disbandment.

Kino also shared photos of the PENTAGON members, with Hongseok adding another group photo on social media.
