Aly Michalka Says Potential 'Easy A' Sequel is in the Works!

Are we getting another Easy A movie?!

During a new interview with E! News, Aly Michalka, who appeared in the 2010 movie, revealed that a sequel is in the works.

“There are talks that there might be a sequel,” the 32-year-old singer and actress shared. “That actually is semi real.”

If you forgot, Aly appeared in Easy A alongside Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, and Amanda Bynes. The film put a modern twist on the novel The Scarlet Letter, which Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote back in 1850.

Aly also shared that the sequel wouldn’t follow Olive (Emma) and Todd (Penn), but would be “kind of like a new retelling but you’d see some of the characters from the original come back into the story.”
