Marvel Studios Searching for Latino Actor to Headline a Halloween Special for Disney+

Marvel Studios is reportedly planning a Halloween special for Disney+ and a Latino actor will be headlining the special.

Not much is known yet about the special, but it’s being reported that it could be based on the Werewolf by Night comic books.

Two characters featured in these comics are Jack Russell and Jake Gomez.

Variety reports that Jack “has a family history of lycanthropy — or the supernatural transformation of a human into a wolf — but uses his power for good, and is able to remain aware of his transformations.”

Jake is “described to be a descendant of the Native American tribe Hopi who has been cursed with lycanthropy, also through his lineage.”

Marvel has already released WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki as Disney+ series. The next one to be released will be Hawkeye!
