Betty White's Agent Releases Touching Statement Confirming Death at 99

Betty White‘s death has been confirmed by her agent and close friend Jeff Witjas.

The legendary actress and TV icon passed away on Friday (December 31) at the age of 99, just 18 days ahead of her 100th birthday.

Just days ago, Betty opened up to People about celebrating her centennial year. She said, “I’m so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age. It’s amazing.”

After TMZ broke the news about Betty‘s death, her agent released a statement to confirm the news.

He said, “Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever. I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”
