How Old Is Rhaenyra Targaryen on 'House of the Dragon'? Ages of More Characters Revealed Too!

The new HBO series House of the Dragon, which is a prequel to the hit show Game of Thrones, just premiered and fans will likely have questions about the ages of some of the characters.

House of the Dragon, based on author George R.R. Martin‘s “Fire & Blood,” is set 200 years before the events of GoT and tells the story of House Targaryen.

The book was released back in November 2018 and it is the first of two volumes in the saga, though it’s unclear when the second volume will be released. The character ages appear to be different in the book and the series, with some of the characters significantly aged up for the TV show.

The age of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king’s first-born child, is definitely going to be one of the biggest questions among audiences. The younger version is played by Milly Alcock and the older version, who was not seen in episode one, will be played by Emma D’Arcy.
