Kate Middleton's Brother Shares Why The Royal Kids Are Lucky

Kate Middleton‘s younger brother, James Middleton, is very happy his niece and nephews are growing up with something he wish he had when he was younger.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are growing up with a loving dog alongside them.

“I’m really pleased that they are able to enjoy and have the benefit of a dog in their lives,” James told OK Magazine. “I see them being lucky that they have a dog in their life.”

Lupo, their first family dog, was a puppy from James‘ dog Ella, who had a litter. His other dog Luna, also had a litter which is where they got their current dog Orla.

James says he is grateful the royal kids get an experience he didn’t quite have when he was their age. He had to “write letters to my parents to try to convince them to let me have one.”

Later when James was older, the family finally got a golden retriever named Tilly.

“I found a lot of solace in my dog, Tilly, particularly when I was a young teenager,” James. “She knew all of my secrets at the time — who I fancied and all of those little tricky parts that come with growing up that I never told anybody.”

If you didn’t see, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three kids took part in the Big Help Out day, a day meant to help out the community and volunteer at the end of the Coronation in London, England.
