Sophia Bush and Brad Bird are looking sharp on the red carpet at the 2018 Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Brad was awarded the Hollywood Animation Award during the ceremony.

Brad wrote and directed Incredibles 2, in which Sophia voiced the character Voyd.

“I was in public and I opened [the e-mail] and screamed really loud. I still have the PDF of it in my phone. [It had] The Incredibles family at the bottom and [it was on] Pixar letterhead. It’s very official and sweet. I opened it and I screamed and an entire restaurant full of people turned and looked at me, which was mortifying, but just so exciting. Kind of an out of body experience. This is a big bucket list thing for me and it happened,” Sophia previously said of discovering she booked the role.

Hugh is receiving the Hollywood Actor Award for his work in The Front Runner while Glenn is being honored with the Hollywood Actress Award for The Wife.

During the ceremony, Brad presented the Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award to Felix Van Groeningen for Beautiful Boy.

Brad is a co-producer on the movie, which is based on the memoirs Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction by David Sheff and Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines by Nic Sheff. It stars Steve Carell and Timothee Chalamet.

Shailene Woodley sparkles bright while arriving at the 2018 Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress was in attendance to support her Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman, who is receiving the Career Achievement Award at the ceremony. The two co-stars met up on the carpet and held hands for a quick photo together

Nicole will be honored with the Career Achievement Award at the ceremony.

The award is being presented to celebrate “the versatility of her performances over the years, with characters as diverse and extraordinary as an aspiring television personality with a dark motive in Gus Van Sant‘s To Die For to the iconic and complicated Virginia Woolf in The Hours,” the awards show said in a statement.

The 31-year-old Imagine Dragons frontman teamed up with Aja on the documentary film Believer, which is being recognized tonight with the Hollywood Documentary Award.

Dan and Aja got married in March 2011 and they share three daughters. They announced that they were getting divorced in April 2018 after seven years of marriage, but they are clearly still close friends.
