Derek Hough is celebrating his Emmy win at the 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a big way – with a giant leap on the red carpet!

The 36-year-old choreographer and entertainer celebrated his win at the award ceremony held at Microsoft Theater on Sunday (September 12) in Los Angeles with longtime love, Hayley Erbert, by his side.

While posing for pictures on the red carpet, Derek showed off his most recent Emmy, which he picked up for Outstanding Choreography For Variety or Reality Programming.

He even balanced the award on his knee!

Derek has two previous Emmys, which he won in 2010 and in 2015.

RuPaul is on a roll!

The 60-year-old drag icon’s hit competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race reigned during the 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 12).

RuPaul won for host of a reality or competition program for a sixth consecutive time, and the show won for casting for a reality TV program, as well as picture editing, and directing a reality program (Nick Murray), which it also won in 2018. RuPaul’s Drag Race Untucked also won for unstructured reality for the first time.

If RuPaul‘s show wins an Emmy during the ceremony later this month, it will tie with The Voice as the second-most honored series in the competition program category. (Only The Amazing Race has more.)

Ming-Na Wen goes all out in a fluttery gown for the 2021 Creative Arts Emmys at Microsoft Theater on Saturday night (September 11) in Los Angeles.

The 57-year-old The Mandalorian actress hit the red carpet ahead of the ceremony alongside Pose star Angelica Ross, Marlee Matlin, and Paris Jackson.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Alex Borstein, Fantasy Island‘s Roslyn Sanchez, June Diane Raphael and husband Paul Scheer, Lisa Edelstein, The Boys‘ Laz Alonso, Ted Lasso‘s Brendan Hunt, and The Underground Railroad star Thuso Mbedu were also at the event.

The Creative Arts Emmys, which will be held on Sunday as well, recognize technical and other similar achievements in American television programming.

The Queen’s Gambit, The Black Lady Sketch Show, WandaVision, and Pose were among the winners from tonight’s event.
