There was a lot of star power at the Broadway opening of Spamalot!

Brie Larson and Iman Vellani, two of the stars of The Marvels, sat together inside the theatre for the opening night performance on Thursday (November 16) at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

Cobie Smulders, who is also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was in attendance to support her husband Taran Killam, who stars in the revival of the Tony-winning musical.

Some of the other celebs in attendance included Zachary Levi, Loot‘s Stephanie Styles, longtime friends Victor Garber and Andrea Martin, Kate Miccuci, theater owner Jordan Roth, American Idol‘s Constantine Maroulis, Broadway stars Adam Pascal, Patti Murin, and Montego Glover, and Broadway’s POTUS cast members Vanessa Williams, Rachel Dratch, Julie White, and Lea DeLaria.

Monty Python’s Eric Idle also posed on the red carpet.

Ariana Grande was also there to support her boyfriend, who stars in the show.

Did you know that Frankie Valli has a talented granddaughter?

The legendary Four Seasons singer’s granddaughter Olivia Valli is currently starring as Vivian Ward in the national tour of Pretty Woman, which is currently in L.A.

Frankie showed up at the opening night performance of Pretty Woman to support Olivia on Friday night (June 17) at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Olivia was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Adam Pascal, Jessica Crouch, Kyle Taylor Parker, and Matthew Stocke. She also posed for photos with her grandfather and his girlfriend Jackie Jacobs.

Pretty Woman: The Musical, based on the beloved movie, is playing at the Dolby Theatre through July 3. The production then moves to Orange County to play at Segerstrom Center for the Arts from July 5 through July 17.

Two of the stars of Rent are together again!

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp reunited for a performance during the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

While on stage, Adam and Anthony performed “What You Own.”

If you didn’t know, Adam and Anthony starred together as Roger and Mark in Rent when it first debuted on Broadway 25 years ago, back in 1996. They also starred in the London run of Rent in 1998.

Adam and Anthony reprised their roles in the film adaptation of Rent, which was released in 2005.

The two returned to Rent on Broadway for a run from July 2007 to October 2007. Anthony and Adam also reprised their roles for the national tour of Rent in 2009.

Daphne Rubin-Vega looks stunning in a sleek dress at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The 51-year-old actress walked the red carpet alongside her Rent co-star Adam Pascal.

Daphne and Adam originated the roles of Mimi and Roger in the 1996 musical. It picked up four Tonys, including Best Musical at the 1996 awards.

You can tune in now for the The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back!, on CBS. The primetime special will include performances from beloved classics and the three Best Musical nominees.

Idina Menzel is joined by fellow original cast members Fredi Walker and Daphne Rubin-Vega while performing “Seasons of Love” during the Rent Live finale on Sunday night (January 27) at Fox Studios in Los Angeles.

The original Broadway cast of the beloved musical reunited for a special appearance during the final moments of Fox’s production.

The ladies were joined by Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Jesse L. Martin, Taye Diggs, and Wilson Jermaine Heredia, as well as some other cast members, for the performance.

While most of the special did not take place live due to star Brennin Hunt‘s injury this weekend, the finale was indeed live!

The original Broadway cast of the musical Rent will be making a special appearance during Fox’s live production, so you might be wondering, what are they up to now?

The beloved Jonathan Larson musical debuted on Broadway in 1996 and six out of eight original cast members reprised their roles for the 2005 film adaptation.

The show created a bunch of stars and Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs even got married seven years after working together in the Broadway musical, though their marriage ended in 2013.

Fans of the Broadway musical Rent will be delighted to see the original cast show up during this weekend’s production of Rent Live on Fox.

Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Idina Menzel, Jesse L. Martin, Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, and Fredi Walker are all set to make an appearance during the special.

Idina and Anthony both posted photos of trailers on set at Fox Studios, that show the initials of all eight original cast members.

The musical debuted on Broadway back in 1996 and six of the eight actors reprised their roles in the 2005 film version.

It’s not yet known what the original cast will be doing during Rent Live, but our guess is they will join the new cast members for a reprise of “Seasons of Love” at the end. The tracklisting for the Rent Live soundtrack lists a second version of the iconic song for the finale.
