The 64-year-old actor just gave a new interview to CNN and he discussed the fallout to his career after the deadly incident, 10 months later.

Alec Baldwin‘s lawyer is speaking out after the FBI released a forensic report into the shooting on the Rust set.
In the report, the FBI concluded that the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins “could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger.”
Alec, 64, was holding the gun when it went off and struck both Halyna and the film’s director Joel Souza.
The FBI forensic report seemingly contradicts what Alec said in an interview from last December, where he claimed that he “didn’t pull the gun’s trigger” and that he believed he was holding a “cold gun,” which is one that does not have live ammunition.
On Monday (August 15), Alec‘s lawyer has now released a new statement regarding the FBI’s report.

Alec Baldwin has revealed that his mom Carol Baldwin has passed away.
Carol died at the age of 92 on Thursday (May 26) in Syracuse, New York, he said in a statement on Instagram.
“It is with the deepest regret that my family posts the following statement,” Alec wrote on Instagram along with an obituary that was written by his family, including brothers Stephen, William, and Daniel.
