There’s an Elvis scene you haven’t seen!
In Baz Luhrmann’s film, Austin Butler’s character says the words, “I will always love you.” The director has since described it as the film’s actual death scene – but there’s more to it.
In a recent interview with collaborator and cinematographer Mandy Walker, Baz revealed a scene of Austin singing Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” didn’t make the final cut.

Director Baz Luhrmann is teasing plans to drop another version of Elvis.
The Elvis Presley biopic starring Austin Butler premiered earlier this year. However, Baz revealed that there is plenty more footage from the 31-year-old’s various in-character concert performances.
He opened up about plans to release them during a recent appearance.

The 25-year-old model wore a silky bronze ensemble for the party, after walking in the runway show just hours earlier.

Baz Luhrmann is reflecting on filming Elvis with star Austin Butler.
On Friday (September 30) the 60-year-old actor and the 31-year-old hit the red carpet together while arriving at the BAFTA A Life in Pictures: Baz Luhrmann event in London, England.
Ahead of the event, Baz praised Austin‘s devotion to portraying Elvis Presley in the hit movie, which was released in theaters over the summer.

There were so many celebrities in attendance at Baz Luhrmann‘s birthday party this week!
The beloved director turned 60 and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour threw him a star-studded party on Sunday night (September 18) at a private townhouse in New York City.
Among the stars in attendance were Leonardo DiCaprio, who starred in Baz‘s movie Romeo + Juliet and The Great Gatsby, and Florence Welch, who created music for The Great Gatsby.
Joel Edgerton and his girlfriend Christina Centenera were both there and he also starred in The Great Gatsby. Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness were in attendance and he worked with Baz on the movie Australia.
Also in attendance were Elvis‘ Olivia DeJonge, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, political aide Huma Abedin, Anna‘s daughter Bee Shaffer, and Moulin Rouge‘s Broadway producer Bill Damaschke.
