Fischerspooner is coming to an end.

The electroclash duo made the announcement on Wednesday (October 30).

“Thank you for everything,” they captioned the announcement on their social media, which reads: “Fischerspooner is dead. Long live Fischerspooner.”

Fischerspooner was made up of members Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner, and formed back in 1998 in New York City. They released their last album, Sir, in 2018 – their first in almost a decade.

They first broke through with their debut album #1, and rose to fame with songs including “Emerge,” “The 15th,” “Just Let Go,” “Never Win” and “A Kick in the Teeth.”

The group also remixed popular songs for artists like Kylie Minogue and The Killers.
