Gilmore Girls' David Sutcliffe Denies Participating in US Capitol Riot But Seems to Support the Rioters

There’s a rumor going around that David Sutcliffe, who portrayed Christopher on Gilmore Girls, was one of the rioters who stormed the US Capitol earlier this month.

The 51-year-old actor responded to the rumor on Twitter and denied he was there. However, some fans are shocked because he did seem to side with the insurgents who stormed inside.

If you don’t know, David appeared on both Gilmore Girls and the Netflix reboot in 2016, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. He is now retired from acting and started participating in “Radical Aliveness” workshops, according to his website.

'Gilmore Girls' Cast Premieres New Episodes in Los Angeles!

There is less than a week left until we can binge-watch the new Gilmore Girls episodes and the cast stepped out to premiere them in Los Angeles!

Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel hit the red carpet at the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premiere at the Fox Bruin Theater on Friday night (November 18) in LA.

Other cast members in attendance included Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Matt Czuchry, Sally Struthers, David Sutcliffe, Danny Strong, Alan Loayza, and Tanc Sade.

Mae Whitman, who played Lauren‘s daughter on Parenthood and appears in the new episodes, also stepped out for the premiere.

FYI: Alexis is wearing a Cynthia Rowley dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch, Paige Novick earrings and bracelets, Bowen bracelets, and rings by Gillian Steinhardt and Tara4779.

Jared Padalecki Returning for 'Gilmore Girls' Revival!

Jared Padalecki is set to reprise his role as Dean Forester in the Netflix Gilmore Girls revival, Variety reports!

The 33-year-old actor played the role of Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) first boyfriend in the original series. Dean and Rory ended up breaking up, and briefly getting back together before she began seeing Logan (Matt Czuchry).

Also set to return to the series is David Sutcliffe, who played Christopher, Rory’s dad and Lorelai’s (Lauren Graham) ex-husband.

It was also recently announced that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) will also return!
