Gaby Hoffmann made an interesting choice after giving birth six weeks ago – she turned her placenta into smoothies!

The 32-year-old actress showed off her post baby body for the first time on Monday night (January 5) at the premiere of Girls season four in New York City and talked with People about life as a new mom.

“Placenta, placenta, placenta. Just eat that s�” up, and it does a girl good!” Gaby said. “You don’t taste [it]. I made smoothies out of it for three weeks. I had a home birth, so my midwife and my doula took it and cut it up into 20 pieces and froze it, and every day, I put it in a blender with strawberries and blueberries and guava juice and a banana, and I drank that s�” up.”

Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet, Allison Williams, and Jemima Kirke are all dressed to impress while attending the fourth season premiere of Girls held at American Museum of Natural History on Monday (January 5) in New York City.

The four actresses were joined by other co-stars Gaby Hoffmann, Andrew Rannells, and Alex Karpovsky.

Orange is the New Black‘s Natasha Lyonne and Edie Falco were also seen hitting the premiere.

It was just announced that Girls has just been renewed for a fifth season by HBO! We are so happy to hear the news!

Gaby Hoffmann is a mom – the actress has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Chris Dapkins.

“Gaby had a daughter, Rosemary, with boyfriend Chris Dapkins, born at home on November 19,” her manager told Us Weekly. “Everyone is healthy and doing great.”

Gaby is best known for her work on the hit series Girls and she also is one of the stars of the new Amazon series Transparent. She also appears in Reese Witherspoon‘s new movie Wild.

Congratulations to Gaby on the happy new addition to her family!

Jenny Slate looks like she is having one awful day in the trailer for her new indie romantic comedy Obvious Child.

The film is about Brooklyn comedian Donna Stern (Slate), who gets dumped, fired and pregnant just in time for the worst/best St. Valentine’s Day of her life.

Obvious Child also stars Girls‘ Gaby Hoffmann, Jake Lacy, Gabe Liedman, David Cross, Richard Kind, and Polly Draper. It hits theaters on June 6 and already seems to have a bunch of great reviews from its festival run.

Julie Delpy and Sally Hawkins are pure elegance on the carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Also in attendance were Gaby Hoffmann and Jane Lynch.

Julie and Gaby were both nominated for Best Female Lead for their work in Before Midnight and Crystal Fairy, respectively. The award ultimately went to Blue Jasmine‘s Cate Blanchett.

Sally was nominated for Best Supporting Female for her work in Blue Jasmine, but she lost to 12 Years a Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o.

Lena Dunham holds onto her iced beverage while filming a scene for the upcoming third season of her HBO series Girls on Thursday (May 2) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress was joined on set that day by new guest star Gaby Hoffmann.

Lena was also spotted on set in the same outfit two days earlier.
