Janet Jackson‘s famous family is sending love after the birth of her first child.

The 50-year-old entertainer welcomed a son, Eissa Al Mana, with husband, Wissam Al Mana, this week.

Janet‘s sister LaToya wrote on Twitter, “How exciting! @JanetJackson, Jan and Wissam just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! Congratulations!!!”

Their dad Joe Jackson wrote on his website, “Congratulations to my daughter Janet Jackson on the birth of my Grandson. Making me a grandfather again ! Wishing you all the love and happiness a father could wish a daughter.”

Joe Jackson, father of Michael, Janet and the rest of the Jackson 5 children, has been hospitalized.

The 87-year-old patriarch was admitted to the hospital for a mystery ailment after a checkup on Wednesday (May 18), Us Weekly reports.

“He wasn’t feeling well over the weekend and last week and he was very sick, so they made an appointment for him to see his doctor and the doctor admitted him to the hospital,” a source said. “They couldn’t really pinpoint what was wrong with him. He had an extremely high fever.”

The source said Joe’s condition has been stabilized.

Joe Jackson has reportedly suffered a stroke on his 87th birthday while vacationing on Sunday (July 26) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The Jackson family patriarch apparently woke up feeling dizzy and being unable to see, TMZ reports. He was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital and tests are being performed to see if he should be flown back to the States.

Joe is in town for a birthday party that was being thrown for him.

Hours before, Joe‘s daughter Janet wrote her dad a sweet message on Twitter. “Wishing my Father, @Joe5Jackson a Happy Birthday. I want to tell the world, I love and honor you,” she wrote.

We hope Joe is doing okay and we are sending him well wishes.

Three days after his son Michael Jackson death, 80-year-old Joe Jackson hits the red carpet the 2009 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (June 28) in Los Angeles.
