In 2020, Pamela Anderson got married to Jon Peters, a film producer, but the marriage only lasted 12 days.

In a new interview with Variety, Pamela shared her thoughts on Jon, who she dated decades ago before they rekindled their romance just a few weeks before the pandemic began.

“He’s great and has been a huge influence on my life. I love him to death,” she said in the 2023 interview.

Jon also gave a quote to Variety and revealed a secret no one knew before now.

The superstar responded to allegations that her ex-husband, Jon Peters, who she married for 12 days, paid off her debts.

“I don’t need anyone to pay my bills. I own a $10-million dollar house in Malibu Colony that has been rented for almost two years now and for the next three to five years for $40,000 month. That more than covers all my bills and expenses. I have contracts and other work. I put that money into my Ladysmith project. I believe it’s best to put my money in property,” she said to Victoria News.

Jon previously said: “I’ve loved this kid since she was 20-years-old. I still love her. We’re friends. We’ll always be friends. I helped her in a way that she needed, but it’s between her and I. I think she’s great, and that’s all I got to say.”

She later revealed that Jon gave her a $100,000 check following their breakup, which she said went to her Ladysmith property.

“I’m thrilled to inject some work money into the community. All my savings, all the extra money I make, goes here or to my foundation,” she said.

Jon Peters is engaged to Julia Bernheim, Us Weekly reports. The news was revealed while Neptune Wellness CEO Michael Cammarata rang the NASDAQ Closing Bell on Thursday (February 20).

News of 73-year-old producer’s engagement comes less than three weeks after it was announced that he and Pamela, 52, were splitting up after being married for 12 days. It has been revealed that the two never obtained a marriage license.

Pamela and Jon were only married five days after their January 20 wedding when Jon texted Pamela ending their marriage, saying that marriage “scared him.”

However, Jon alleged that Pamela only wanted to marry him so that he would pay off all of her debt. Pamela was denied these allegations.

“Needless to say that when she texted me that she wanted to get married, it was kind of a dream come true even though I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in,” Jon said.

“I dropped everything for Pam. She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There’s no fool like an old fool,” Jon said, alleging that she only wanted to marry him so he would pay off her debt.

Meanwhile, another source spoke out about how Jon allegedly ended things.

The couple originally dated 30 years ago and recently rekindled their romance.

Pamela issued a statement in the form of a poem, saying, “Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood – no one compares – I love him deeply like family. His life used to scare me. So much for a girl like me. Now I’ve seen more of life and realize ..He’s been there all along. Never failed me -I’m ready now and he’s ready too – We understand and respect each other – We love each other without conditions. – I’m a lucky woman. – Proof God has a plan.”
