Khalid dropped his new album Free Spirit on Friday (April 5) and now he has released his new short film with the same name!

The 21-year-old singer co-wrote a script for the film with music video director Emil Nava and they got R&B singer Dizzy Fae and Skate Kitchen actor Judah Lang to star in it!

The film follows a group of high school students who take a road trip together.

Khalid‘s manager told Billboard that half of the short film was improvised by the cast. “Everything that they’re talking about in the film, it was Khalid’s real responses,” Courtney Stewart told the outlet.

Jaden Smith is all smiles with an iguana on his shoulders while attending the premiere of his movie Skate Kitchen on Tuesday (August 7) at the IFC Center in New York City.

The 20-year-old actor was joined at the event by the Skate Kitchen cast and crew: Judah Lang, Rachelle Vinberg, Dede Lovelace, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, Kabrina Adams, Jules Lorenzo and Brenn Lorenezo, Tashiana Washington, Hisham Tawfiq, and Alex Cooper.

Some of the stars that stepped out to show their support included Chloe Sevigny, Sasha Lane, Luka Sabbat, Emily Mortimer, Shiloh Fernandez, and more.

In the new film, Camille, an introverted teenage skateboarder (Vinberg) from Long Island, meets and befriends an all-girl, New York City-based skateboarding crew called Skate Kitchen. She falls in with the in-crowd, has a falling-out with her mother, and falls for a mysterious skateboarder guy (Smith), but a relationship with him proves to be trickier to navigate than a kickflip.

Judah Lang is one of eight leading stars in Versace‘s Versus Fall/Winter 2017 campaign.

Created by Donatella Versace and photographed by Ben Toms, the campaign centers around eight creatives including Judah who capture “the energy of subcultures that breathe inclusion across the planet.”

Other creatives in the collection include underground rap artist Tommy Genesis, Tokyo-born musician and model Rina Sawayama and transgender activist and artist Hunter Schafer.

“I really admire the young creatives in the new Versus campaign. I call them the Sub-Versus Generation, a community of subcultures taking a stand for their beliefs and for their individuality.” says Donatella.

Staz Lindes puts her perfect pout on display as the new Saint Laurent girl in this new photo series by French photographer and fashion designer Hedi Slimane.

The 22-year-old model was born in London and raised in Los Angeles, where she was discovered at 14 while hanging at a bowling alley in Santa Monica. She’s currently the guitarist of the new riot girl band Paranoyds and her brother Misha, pictured below, is the lead singer of Sad Girl (@wearesadgirl). For the record, rock ‘n’ roll is in their blood. Their dad is Hal Lindes, the guitarist of British rock band Dire Straits. Their mom Mary was a model and muse in the 70s.
