Leslie Jordan Gets Surprised by a Fire Truck During a Drive in Los Angeles

Leslie Jordan seems surprised by a loud fire truck siren while out and about on Monday (April 5) in Los Angeles.

The 65-year-old actor was spotted covering his ears in his convertible as a loud fire truck drove by. He wore a pair of brown sunglasses and a paisley shirt as he cruised around town.

Leslie latest project has been Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons‘ new comedy Call Me Kat, which premiered on Fox in January.

The series follows a woman named Kat who decides to leave her job as a professor to open a cat cafe.

In the show, Leslie plays Phil, one of Kat’s employees who is responsible for baking the cat cafe’s pastries and is recovering after a recent breakup from his longtime partner.

Jim Parsons recently revealed he cast Mayim Bialik in the starring role for the show because she’s “annoying.”

Leslie Jordan Shares Hysterical Story About Filming 'American Horror Story' with Lady Gaga

Leslie Jordan is opening up about filming American Horror Story: Roanoke with Lady Gaga!

During a new episode of his Instagram series “Pillow Talk,” the 65-year-old actor revealed a funny story while filming a scene with the 34-year-old entertainer.

“I can tell when I meet you, within three minutes, how you were raised. When I met Lady Gaga on the American Horror set…beautifully brought up,” Leslie shared. “‘Please, thank you.’ Lovely girl.”

Leslie then went on to explain the interesting approach Gaga took when her character murders his.

“We had a scene where she was gonna blow fairy dust in my face, and then knock me down, and blind me, chase me, and then roll me over, kick me,” Leslie explained. “And then she was supposed to squat down on me and cut me with a knife.”

“She took me in the woods right before we shot, and she said, ‘You know, I tend to sexualize all my acting partners,’” Leslie continued. “I thought, ‘Where’s this going?’ Well honey, she kicked me, rolled me over, and got down on me and started riding me… I didn’t know what I was supposed to do! I just laid there and thought, ‘How do I get myself into these situations?’”

Leslie Jordan has landed a new role!

The 64-year-old Emmy-winner and Will & Grace alum has joined the cast of the upcoming Fox comedy Call Me Kat, produced by Big Bang Theory stars Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons.

The show follows Kat (played by Bialik), a 39-year-old woman who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that you can not have everything you want and still be happy. That’s why she spent the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a cat café in Louisville, Kentucky.

Leslie is set to play Phil, according to THR, one of Kat’s employees who is responsible for baking all of the cat café’s pastries. Kat is helping him get his mojo back after a recent breakup with his longtime partner.

Call Me Kat, a remake of the BBC comedy Miranda, got a straight-to-series order at Fox in March, but production on the project has been pushed to summer because of the coronavirus pandemic. The cast includes Cheyenne Jackson as Kat’s high school crush Max, and Kyla Pratt as Randi.

'The Passage' & 'Cool Kids' Both Canceled at Fox

The Passage and The Cool Kids have been canceled by Fox.

The network made the announcement about the respective drama series and comedy series on Friday (May 10), Variety reports.

Both shows were on the air for just one season.

The Passage was executive produced by Ridley Scott and starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Saniyya Sidney. It focused on a botched U.S. government experiment that turns a group of death row inmates into highly infectious vampires, and an orphan girl who might be the only person able to stop the ensuing crisis.

The first season of The Passage also starred Jamie McShane, Caroline Chikezie, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Brianne Howey, McKinley Belcher III, Henry Ian Cusick, and Vincent Piazza.

The multi-camera comedy The Cool Kids hailed from executive producer Charlie Day and starred Martin Mull, David Alan Grier, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan, who played friends at a retirement center.
