Channing Tatum brings some color to the red carpet while attending the official opening night of Magic Mike Live with wife Jenna Dewan Tatum on Friday (April 21) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The 36-year-old actor helped develop the new stage production and he got support from celeb pals at the event!

Channing was joined at the event by Stop-Loss co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, upcoming Splash co-star Jillian Bell, Magic Mike co-star Cody Horn and writer Reid Carolin, and longtime friends Nick Zano and Emmanuelle Chriqui.

“It has a story on some level. The big takeaway was that we wanted it to be this really base level experience. We want people to leave and still think about it after they leave,” Channing told Extra about the show. “The thing that I like to say is that it will be exactly what you want it to be. We have a safe word and you will find it out in the show that everyone can use and the guys actually listen. You WILL need a safe word, just so you know.”

Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan head into a furniture store on Monday (June 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.

If you’re waiting for the third installment of the Magic Mike movie franchise, you may want to give up those dreams. According to Channing, Magic Mike 3 will most likely never happen.

Last week, the 36-year-old actor told Cosmopolitan‘s Joanna Coles at a press event in Cannes, France that there are currently no plans for a third movie. However, the masterminds behind the sexy male strippers plan to bring Magic Mike Live! to a Las Vegas stage and eventually hope to turn the show into a musical.

Channing joked around and said that he might take the stage during the Vegas show to lose his shirt if he’s “ever in shape enough to actually do the show again.”

Magic Mike Live! is set to premiere in Vegas in 2017.

Channing Tatum has a very special announcement – Magic Mike is headed to Vegas!

The 36-year-old held a Facebook Live event where he revealed Magic Mike Live will debut at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas in Spring 2017.

“We are going to be doing Magic Mike Live in Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino, coming March of next year,” Channing said. “We want to change what male entertainment has been for years. For 40, 50 years it hasn’t changed. We want to make it better. It’s time to revolutionize.”

Channing also introduced some of the guys who will be in the show, and said they hope to eventually take it on the road!

Matt Bomer is going from movie and television star to music star as well.

The 37-year-old actor recorded a cover of the D’Angelo song “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” for the soundtrack to his movie Magic Mike XXL and now the single is climbing the charts.

Matt‘s version of the song ranked number 8 on Spotify’s top 10 most viral tracks in the United States last week and it reached the number 6 slot on the global list.

While it is not on the soundtrack, Matt also sang an a capella version of the song “Heaven” in the movie!

Channing Tatum is handsome while hitting the premiere of his new film Magic Mike XXL with his wife Jenna Dewan held at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Thursday (June 25) in Hollywood.

The 35-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Adam Rodriguez, Reid Carolin, and Stephen Boss.
