Nickayla Rivera is opening up about the loss of her sister, Naya Rivera.
On Monday (January 10), the 28-year-old model shared a new video to her YouTube channel, where she reflected on the changes she’s gone through since her sister’s tragic death in 2020.

Nickayla Rivera has seemingly responded to reports that she has moved in with Ryan Dorsey.
It was first reported that Nickayla and Ryan had moved in together as she helped to raise her nephew, Josey Dorsey, following her older sister, Naya Rivera‘s death over the summer.
The report also included photos of Nickayla and Ryan moving in furniture and belongings into a new rental home in the Los Angeles area.
Now, Nickayla has responded to the report on her Instagram Stories.
“In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends and family,” she writes. “Showing up for my nephew, even though I can’t show up for myself.”
Nickayla goes on, “Im not concerned with the way things look because no one can see each agonizing moment we all endure.”
“What matters most I’ve learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others, and never take a moment of life for granted. I hope you all can do the same.”

The late Naya Rivera‘s younger sister Nickayla has reportedly moved in with her ex-husband Ryan Dorsey to help raise her five-year-old son Josey.
The 33-year-old actress passed away in July after tragically drowning in California’s Lake Piru during a boat trip with Josey.
The Daily Mail has photos of Nickayla and Ryan moving in furniture and belongings into a new rental home in the Los Angeles area. The outlet obtained photos of the two of them together on at least five different occasions throughout the last month while getting their new home ready.
An eyewitness said, “They seem really comfortable together and are obviously helping each other through a very difficult period in both their lives. They were fooling around and chatting the whole time. They’re obviously helping lift each other’s spirits.”
Naya‘s full autopsy report was released a couple of weeks ago and it revealed some devastating details about the day she died.

The 25-year-old model took to Instagram and posted an old photo of her and Naya along with her emotional note.
“Sister, There are no words to describe my love for you. Side by side or miles apart, our connection is infinite. Our bond is unbreakable. We were complete opposites, yet simultaneously the same. The yin to my yang. I never knew that by losing you, I would find so much of you in myself,” Nickayla wrote in her statement.
“I’ve never known a life without you in it & still can’t imagine it. My world is turned upside down. But through it all, everything we were, we are still. I’ll always look at you with the same eyes as I did when I was young,” she added. “My shmaya, I’ll love you for eternity & miss you every second of my life.”
Nickayla‘s statement was posted about an hour after Naya‘s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey broke his silence with a touching tribute on his social media page.
