Chris Pine is bringing his signature look to the red carpet!

The 43-year-old actor attended the Los Angeles premiere of his directorial debut Poolman on Wednesday (April 24) at the Vista Theatre.

He made a fashionable statement by wearing a pair of short shorts for the big occasion.

While on the red carpet, Chris also reflected on his first big premiere for Princess Diaries 2 back in 2004. He described the experience as terrifying and spilled some details about the memorable moment.

The 43-year-old actor not only directs the movie, but he also stars, produces and co-wrote the film with Ian Gotler.

Poolman “tells the story of Darren Barrenman (Pine), a native Los Angeleno who spends his days looking after the pool of the Tahitian Tiki apartment block and fighting to make his hometown a better place to live. When he is tasked by a femme fatale to uncover the truth behind a shady business deal, Darren enlists the help of his friends to take on a corrupt politician and a greedy land developer. His investigation reveals a hidden truth about his beloved city and himself.”

The 43-year-old actor stars in and directs the new comedy movie Poolman, which he also co-wrote with Ian Gotler.
