At a time when LGBTQ+ rights have especially come under fire in the United States, including proposed anti-trans legislation in several states, as well as attempts to ban drag shows in America, these celebrities are all helping push back against ignorance, prejudice and intolerance in the fight for equality for every citizen.

JoJo Siwa is opening up about coming out as a teenager.

The now 20-year-old Dance Moms alum just launched her iHeartMedia podcast JoJo Siwa Now, which reflects on her past meeting her future.

During the conversation, she spoke about what it meant to come out of the closet at a young age, and how it “meant a lot” to be cast on Dancing with the Stars as part of the first-ever same-sex couple in 2021.

Brian Austin Green Opens Up About the 'Challenge' of Raising His Gay 21-Year-Old Son, Kassius

Brian Austin Green is opening up about fatherhood.

The 50-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alum admitted that raising his “out and gay and proud” son Kassius, 21, was initially a “challenge” on the latest episode of the Frosted Tips with Lance Bass podcast.

“It has been a challenge. Honestly, it was unknown for me,” he explained.

Director Paul Feig Speaks Out After His Friend Laura Ann Carleton Was Shot & Killed for Displaying a Pride Flag at Her Shop

Paul Feig is speaking out after a devastating murder.

The 60-year-old Bridesmaids and The Office director issued a statement following the death of shop owner and mother of nine Laura Ann Carleton, who was shot and killed by a man who confronted her for displaying a Pride flag.

“Our wonderful friend Lauri Carlton (seen in this picture) was murdered yesterday in her store @magpi_shop in Lake Arrowhead by a 27 year old man who didn’t like that she had a large pride flag hanging outside of her shop,” he wrote.

“He ripped it down and when she confronted him about it he shot and killed her.”

The Challenge's Paulie Calafiore Comes Out as Bisexual After Emotional Elimination from CBS Show

Paulie Calafiore, best known for his appearances on various reality competition shows, is opening up about his sexuality.

The 34-year-old reality star just came out as bisexual following his elimination from the CBS series The Challenge: USA.

Paulie hinted at his sexuality while having a conversation with a fellow contestant in episode three. He said, “I came through athletics, so that forced me to repress who I was, sexually. I didn’t know if I was attracted to women, attracted to men, or if it was just like an energy thing… I’d be like, I need to prove that I’m the most alpha human in the world.”

After the show aired on Thursday night, Paulie officially came out during a Zoom interview with GLAAD’s Anthony Allen Ramos.
