Chaos strikes at the start of a group vacation in the newly released trailer for Hulu’s The Drop.
The movie centers on Anna Konkle and Jermaine Fowler, who play newlyweds Lex and Mani. They share the screen with co-stars Jillian Bell, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Robin Thede, Aparna Nancherla, Joshua Leonard, Jennifer Lafleur and Elisha Henig.

PEN15‘s Anna Konkle and Coming 2 America‘s Jermaine Fowler are starring in a new movie together that will be released on Hulu next month!
The Drop will drop on the streaming service on January 13, 2023.
Here is the film’s synopsis: “Lex (Konkle) and Mani (Fowler) are a happily married young couple, running their dream artisanal bakery in Los Angeles and excited about starting a family together. A trip to a tropical island resort for a friend’s destination wedding, coinciding with Lex’s ovulation cycle, feels like the perfect opportunity to conceive. But good vibes and high hopes are cut short when, shortly after their arrival to paradise, Lex accidentally drops her friend’s (Aparna Nancherla) baby in front of all their friends. Paradise becomes purgatory for our couple as recriminations, passive-aggression and old wounds begin to permeate the island reunion and throw Mani and Lex’s future into deep uncertainty.”
Also starring in the movie are Jillian Bell, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Robin Thede, Joshua Leonard, Jennifer Lafleur, and Elisha Henig.

The stars are stepping out during Emmys Weekend!
Andrew Garfield, Rachel Zegler, and Hayden Panettiere were among the many stars in attendance at The Hollywood Reporter’s Emmy Party on Saturday night (September 10) in Los Angeles.

Stars from Emmy-nominated shows including Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Ted Lasso, Yellowjackets, and Severance were also in attendance at the party. Nominees and guests alike sipped on specialty Casamigos cocktails including a Grapefruit Rosemary Paloma and a Spicy Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita.

The stars are stepping out for the 2022 HCA TV Awards!
Milo Ventimiglia along with The White Lotus co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Connie Britton posed for photos on the red carpet while arriving at the event hosted by Hollywood Critics Association on Saturday evening (August 13) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Other stars in attendance included cast members from shows including This Is Us, Abbott Elementary, Better Call Saul, and Yellowjackets.

Tracee Ellis Ross got nothing but support at the launch of her brand Pattern Beauty line held on (September 8) at a private location in Los Angeles.

The Golden Globe-winning actress got support from her siblings Evan Ross and his wife Ashlee Simpson, brother Ross Naess and his wife Kimberly Ryan, as well as pregnant sister Chudney Ross and her husband Joshua Faulkner at the event. Guests enjoyed Casamigos Tequila and Mezcal.
Also in attendance to show their support were Lena Waithe, A Black Lady Sketch Show star Robin Thede, Pose‘s MJ Rodriguez and Tracee’s Mixed-ish stars Arica Himmel, Mykal-Michelle Harris and Ethan Childress.
Patten was 10 years in the making,” Tracee Ellis Ross told Marie Claire about the hairline. “I wrote my first brand pitch in 2008 when Girlfriends finished. It’s taken me that long because the gatekeepers and decision-makers of the beauty world did not understand the magnitude, importance, beauty, breath, and consumer dollars of the curl community. They wondered why anyone would want products from me. The pitch and hair products I wanted to create then are the same now. The difference is now I apparently have credibility. This is made from the heart of a woman who is honored to be a part of this community. This is 20 years of dreaming, digging in my hair, and thinking about what I was longing for.”

Issa Rae and Robin Thede sit down down to speak about their brand new series A Black Lady Sketch Show during the HBO segment of the 2019 TCA Summer Press Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday (July 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The two ladies were joined at the event by director Dime Davis to promote the narrative series set in a limitless magical reality full of dynamic, hilarious characters and celebrity guests.
A Black Lady Sketch Show, premiering August 2 at 11PM, presents sketches performed by a core cast of black women. Robin is the creator and leading star.
The series also features a veritable who’s who of black women in Hollywood as guest stars, from Angela Bassett to Lena Waithe, and executive producer Issa Rae herself, to Gina Torres and Marsai Martin – Watch the trailer here!
