Tish Cyrus is opening up about the lead-up to her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus.

The 56-year-old momager of Miley Cyrus made an appearance on Alex Cooper‘s Call Her Daddy and opened up about going through a psychological breakdown in lockdown.

“During that period, I took a really good, hard look at life, my life, and like, ‘What was I gonna do?’” she shared of her nearly 30 year marriage. “Because it had not been in a good place for a long time. And I think I did stay so long out of fear of being alone. Like I had met him when I was 23, 24.”

However, Tish‘s youngest children Braison and Noah Cyrus skipped the special day, sparking rumors that the family was taking sides after she and Billy Ray Cyrus split.

Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell are saying “I do” in front of friends and family, including Miley Cyrus, four months after announcing their engagement!

The 56-year-old manager went public in her relationship with the 53-year-old Prison Break actor in November 2022.

On Saturday (August 19), they exchanged vows in an intimate, poolside wedding hosted in Malibu, Calif. Tish had Miley by her side as maid of honor. Her son Trace Cyrus and daughter Brandi Cyrus also appear to have been part of the wedding party.

Miley Cyrus and her mom Tish grabbed lunch on Tuesday (May 2) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old “Flowers” pop star and her 55-year-old mom stopped by Joan’s on Third for a lunch date. Their outing comes just a few days after it was revealed that Tish was engaged to Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell.

Both Miley and Tish went incognito for the outing, wearing sunglasses and dressing casually. The pop star wore a black top and leggings with a gray cardigan and pulled her hair into a bun.

Tish wore a gray jacket over top of a graphic T-shirt.
