OlderNicodemus: Evan Rachel Wood's New Cat!
Evan Rachel Wood works the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie, Fox Searchlight’s The Wrestler, held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday (December 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 21-year-old actress admitted she has a new man in her life — a cat! She told People, “I’m not really looking for any kind of guy now. I just got a new boy cat. He’s the only man in my life right now. [His name is] Nicodemus, after the king of the rats in the Secret of NIMH. A cat named after the King of the Rats. He’s all I need right now.”

I think this girl is extremely talented and quite lovely. But I want her to go away to an island for a few months. Swim, read, sing, dance, walk, whatever – just be herself. Ditch the makeup; ditch the getup; discover her natural self and bring that back to her work. Right now, she looks like a distortion of herself. Makes me sad to look at her. Just my two cents.

I agree with Ali….this is a beautiful girl hiding under too much make-up.
Please, fire the makeup artist….too much makeup on a young girl ages her, and does create a kind of “tranny” look.
Go dance on the sand…in the daytime…and get some perspective back after trying too hard to be “different”. Different isn’t different when it’s the same stuff every other young person with a rebellious streak has ever pulled.
The old Evan was pure glamour…not painted on glamour.
