OlderMelissa McCarthy Films 'The Heat' After Emmy Nomination
Sandra Bullock and her co-star Melissa McCarthy film a scene for their upcoming buddy cop comedy The Heat on Thursday (July 19) in Boston, Mass.
The film is about an FBI agent (Bullock) who teams up with a Boston police officer (McCarthy) to take down a Russian mobster.
Melissa just received her second consecutive Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Mike & Molly. Last year, she won the award!
She is up against Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Lena Dunham (Girls), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Tina Fey (30 Rock), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep).
