'The Croods' Tops Weekend Box Office, 'Olympus' Starts Strong!
The Croods has topped this weekend’s box office with a gross of $44.7 million!
According to THR, the animated flick – which stars the voices of Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds – brought in a total of $108 million worldwide during its debut week.
Coming in at number two was the Gerard Butler action film Olympus Has Fallen, which earned $30.5 million in its first week of release.
The number three slot went to Oz the Great and Powerful, which grossed $22 million, bringing its total so far to $177.6 million.
Rounding out the top five were The Call, starring Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin, and the Tina Fey and Paul Rudd comedy Admission, which made $8.7 million and $6.4 million, respectively.
Opening in a nationwide release, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Benson‘s new flick Spring Breakers grossed $5 million in only about 1,100 theaters.
