Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie Split After Three Years of Marriage

Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie have separated, JustJared.com can confirm.

A rep told People that the 26-year-old actress, author, and entertainer and her 33-year-old husband “have mutually decided [upon] an amicable separation.”

“They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time,” the rep concluded.

Mike and Hilary have one child together, a son named Luca, who is almost two-years-old. Mike and Hilary were married in August of 2010.

After the news broke, Hilary tweeted to her fans saying, “Mike and I are sitting here, we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes. Not an easy day but we’re getting thru it together.”
