Pierce Brosnan Talks Robin Williams' Death at 'November Man' Premiere: 'He Will Be Loved Forever & Missed Forever'
Pierce Brosnan is dapper as he hits the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film The November Man held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (August 13) in Hollywood.
The 61-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Olga Kurylenko, director Roger Donaldson, as well as Simon Baker, and Pierce‘s children Paris, and Dylan, who came out to show their support for the flick.
At the event, Pierce opened up about the death of his good friend and Mrs Doubtfire co-star Robin Williams.
“It is a deeply sad time for us all on the loss of Robin Williams,” Pierce told Us Weekly. “My first day on set, they said, ‘Do you want to meet Robin?’ I had never met the man, I was so excited. I was so thrilled to have this job in the company of this great star comedian. I walked into the trailer and there was Robin in a pair of Ugg boots, hairy legs, shorts, Hawaiian shirt and hairy chest. That’s how I met Robin Williams, and that’s how I met Mrs Doubtfire. And I had the time of my life. Every day was just sheer magic with the man. His hilarity, his grace, his brilliance of mind and soul. His reverence, sincerity. [It's a] deep loss.”
“It really has cut deep into all our hearts that he is gone and that he suffered in such pain,” Pierce continued. “He will be loved forever and missed forever.”
FYI: Olga is wearing a Michael Van Der Ham dress.
