Charlie Murphy Dead - Comedian & Eddie Murphy's Brother Dies From Leukemia at 57
Charlie Murphy has passed away at the age of 57 after battling leukemia.
The 57-year-old entertainer was a successful stand up comedian who notably co-starred on the Chappelle Show. He also co-wrote some of his brother Eddie Murphy‘s movies, and appeared in Are We There Yet, The Boondocks and Black Jesus.
Charlie passed away in a New York City hospital. He recently toured with Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley.
Charlie left behind three children. His wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, passed away in 2009 from cancer.
