Johnny Depp Surprises Fans on Disneyland's 'Pirates' Ride! (Official Video)

Johnny Depp gave some fans the surprise of a lifetime when he showed up on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in costume as Captain Jack Sparrow… and now there’s official video proof!

Disney just released a cool look at Johnny bringing his character to life in front of some shocked fans, several of whom thought he was a robot at first.

After his appearance on the ride, Johnny stood on a balcony outside of the attraction and interacted with fans, all while in character.

You will be able to see Johnny back as Captain Jack on the big screen when Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on May 26.
