Ryan Gosling Stars in 'First Man' - See the Official Poster!

Ryan Gosling is blasting off!

The 37-year-old actor is the star of the upcoming First Man, the true life story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, in which he plays Neil Armstrong. The official poster for the movie was released on Friday (June 8).

The Damien Chazelle-directed film is based on the book by James R. Hansen about “the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history.”

The movie also co-stars Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Patrick Fugit, Ciaran Hinds, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Corey Stoll and Pablo Schreiber.
