Ryan Phillippe Kicks Off Filming on 'Alive' Pilot in Vancouver

Ryan Phillippe is getting to work on his new show Alive.

The 44-year-old actor was spotted filming an intense scene for the CBS show’s pilot on Monday afternoon (April 1) in Vancouver, Canada.

The show, which was previously titled Frankenstein, will follow a San Francisco homicide detective who was killed in the line of duty but is mysteriously brought back to life.

If Alive is picked up, it will mark Ryan‘s return to television after his show Shooter was cancelled last year.
