Here's What Kate Middleton Did for Meghan Markle When Serena Williams Lost Wimbledon

Duchess Kate Middleton reportedly consoled Duchess Meghan Markle at Wimbledon in the moments after Serena Williams lost the finals match to Simona Halep.

If you don’t know, Duchess Meghan is very good friends with Serena, and the two Duchesses went to Wimbledon to watch the finals match together.

“Kate put her hand out and rubbed Meghan’s back to console her,” an onlooker told People about what happened after Serena‘s loss. The onlooker added that the royals “were genuine and sweet together.”
